Increased corporate governance and compliance requirements call enterprises to action for securing their most valuable assets: the strategic information discussed and mostly decided in the Board of Directors body. Before, after and during a meeting of the Board members, the information must be precise, current and accessible only to authorized persons.

Since most of the Board members are “externals” to the company, there is a need for a solution that not only distributes documents in a secure manner but also supports business processes, like internal collaboration, electronic signatures, voting, task management.

  • What is/are your Solution(s) to solve your clients’ situation?

Our product provides a secure and easy-to-use meeting management solution for Boards of Directors and other committees with a high degree of security. We include not only the typical document distribution factor but as well foster the entire business process and collaboration aspects in modern management structures. Our products are designed to be either an integral part of the customers’ own infrastructure (on-premise hosting) or to be hosted in Loomion’s high security Data Centre. Our solution will be used by all top management individuals including their secretaries and assistants to stay updated with current information. They will prepare for meetings with the latest documents, take part in collaboration requests, secure chats and polls or circular resolutions. By today, Loomion was able to convince clients like SUVA, Glarner Kantonalbank, Post Luxembourg, Swiss Life, Banco do Brasil, Banque de Luxembourg, and others for the described solution. Customer satisfaction level is very high, based on feedback and recommendations/referrals to other interested parties we receive.

In a nutshell, our USP (and what our competitors don’t do) is a SharePoint based Platform, designed, developed and operated in Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland. Enabling seamless integration into businesses processes and workflows, our platform can be operated as SaaS as well as an on-premise solution, can be quickly adapted to customer’s specific needs and can be accessible on and offline. Loomion is the first producer to offer iPhone-App and the first worldwide to have built a Digital Board Platform (back in 2004, which is an indicator to the experience we have in the field of building and operating board platforms for large corporations). Multi-board and multi-corporate capable, we offer highest Data Security Standards as well as Tier 4+ ISO certified Data Centre in Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Our portal is a secure platform for exchanging information for Board of Directors; available on and offline and give you a secure access to your strategic data from all over the world through web browser or dedicated iPad, iPhone and Windows app. The portal includes many features such as versatile annotation tools for working with documents, voting functionality for document approval, full-text search on all documents, various dashboard views, calendar export functionality, display of local conditions (e.g. weather), custom access- and action rights for documents and multi-mandates in one single app. This tool is a support for collaboration and also identifies audit trail on all access attempts to content.
