Virtualization Technical Architect

EBRC (European Business Reliance Centre), leader in Luxembourg and in the Greater Region and a reference model in Europe in integrated one-stop-shop "Trusted Datacentre, Cloud, Managed Services & Advisory Services", aims to become a European Centre of Excellence and Trust in the protection and management of sensitive information.

As part of the development of its "Trusted Services Europe", at national level and at European level, EBRC is seeking to recruit a: Virtualization Technical Architect

As a Virtualization Technical Architect you will :

  • Ensure and plan the maintenance and improvement of the virtualization infrastructure;
  • Participate in customer projects, operational activities and on-call covering your technologies;
  • Support the sales and pre-sales teams on solution proposals that differ from the usual standards;
  • Monitor technology and work closely with the Portfolio Manager, Product Managers and Solution Architects to develop new services;
  • Manage capacity planning;
  • Participate in the documentation of the architecture, development of standards, policies and procedures of the systems;
  • Review the technical skills of the team to plan the necessary training and certifications;
  • Follow incident management, problem management, change management processes with the Command Center;
  • You will actively participate in the EBRC community of architects.

Your profile : 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a Master's degree in Information Technology or related field;
  • In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Service component architecture (server, storage, network, network security, IaaS management tools);
  • Expertise in "VMWare" virtualization technologies (i.e. vSphere, VCloud, NSX-V, NSX-T, VSAN, vRLI, vROps, etc.);
  • Detailed technical knowledge of the Software Defined Data-Center (SDDC);
  • Experience with Cisco B/C series UCS and UCS Manager servers (knowledge of other HW vendors is a plus);
  • Knowledge of ITIL core processes is considered an asset;
  • You are fluent in French and English and have strong collaboration and communication skills.
