System Engineer Virtualization - (M/F) - Permanent Contract

As a System Engineer Virtualization, you will:

  • Be in charge of the design and implementation of new, high value-added virtualization solutions, either in-house or for EBRC customers;
  • Be a key contact for our customers in the pre-sales phase, helping to identify their needs and develop the required solution;
  • Install and manage the lifecycle of the various platforms, guaranteeing production stability;
  • Take charge of incident and problem management for system environments;
  • Monitor the continuous improvement of implemented solutions and industrialize and automate repetitive tasks.

Your profile:          

  • You have a degree in computer science (Bac+3);
  • You have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position;
  • You are considered an expert in VMWare virtualization technologies (i.e. vSphere, VCloud, NSX-V, NSX-T, VSAN, vRLI, vROps, etc.);
  • You have knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Service component architecture (server, storage, network, network security, IaaS management tools);
  • You have technical knowledge of the Software Defined Data-Center (SDDC);
  • You have experience with Cisco UCS B/C series servers and UCS Manager (knowledge of other hardware vendors is an asset);
  • You are familiar with ITIL core processes (certification is an asset);
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; any other language is considered a plus;
  • You have strong collaboration and communication skills;
  • You are able to meet changing priorities, requirements and deadlines;
  • Dynamic and creative, you are a team player with a strong sense of customer service;
  • You are willing to work on-call, enabling EBRC to guarantee continuity of services for its customers.
